Vocabulary Study: Latin and Greek Roots

At the beginning of the semester students will receive a packet of vocabulary terms derived from related Latin and Greek roots.  Generally, students will practice with these terms in class on the Monday and/or Tuesday of each week prior to the terms quiz each Wednesday.

Exceptions to this weekly schedule may occur when students have an abbreviated school week, are assigned an especially heavy reading load, are introduced to new or especially challenging grammar concepts, or are introduced to new or especially challenging literary vocabulary.

Flash Card Study Sheets

Students are encouraged to use these documents to help them study for the weekly vocabulary quizzes.
